🎣 Mending Lines at the Peg Slam Grand Final! 🏆 We’re really pleased to have been invited by PegSlam to join them tomorrow, Saturday 5th September, at Float Fish Farm for their Junior & Cadet Grand Final. We won’t be fishing in the event, but we’ll be there throughout the day to see what PegSlam is all about, support the young anglers taking part, meet families, and chat to people about Mending Lines and what we do. It’s always great for us to get out, meet others in the angling community and see the different ways people are helping get the next generation into fishing. Our summer Mondays at The Willows North Muskham We’ve spent every Monday through the summer holidays at The Willows and we’ve absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful place and honestly, pictures and words don’t really do it justice. The water has so much to offer too, with bream, carp, pike, perch and plenty more. Chris had some cracking bream out in one of the first weeks, then on our final Monday Jordan landed a lovely carp and Dan had a pike. That’s the beauty of a natural water, you never really know what’s going to turn up. A massive thank you to The Willows for having us over the summer. 🎣 MENDING LINES MINI MATCH AT ASTON! 🎣 What a brilliant day we had at Aston Park Fisheries for our Mending Lines mini match! A day full of fishing, laughs, friendly competition and plenty of determination around the lake. It was fantastic seeing everyone getting stuck in and putting their skills into practice. For us, match days aren't just about the final weights. They're about building confidence, learning new skills, making friends, supporting each other and giving young people something positive to be part of. A massive well done to everyone who took part — you did Mending Lines proud! 👏🎣 And a big thank you to Aston Fishery for having us. Earlier this week we spent the day at Witham Grange Glamping with some of the families enjoying their holiday there 🎣 The weather definitely kept us on our toes with plenty of rain throughout the day, but it certainly didn't stop anyone! For some of the children it was their first proper go at fishing, and they absolutely smashed it. Lots of little fish caught, plenty of excitement and some very proud faces – even when the heavens opened! 🌧️🎣 We finished off with certificates for everyone who took part, and judging by those smiles, I think we might have helped create a few new little anglers along the way. Rain or shine, this is what it's all about – getting children outdoors, trying something new, having fun and making memories. Another brilliant day at Witham Grange Glamping 💚🎣
